1st day of March. Beautiful daffodils announcing spring with their little trumpets. The warm sun breaking through the thin whisper of clouds. And me, getting ready to launch my Spring/Summer line.
Yeah right. I'm sitting here in my thermal underwear, husband's tracksuit and dressing gown writing about what to wear when it snows. The problem is psychological. I've mentally prepared myself to start wearing cute summer dresses with a light jacket. Not staring at my Uggs and wondering if I need to wear thermal socks with them ????
There is one benefit to shopping for winter clothes on the first day of spring... everything's on sale!!
Anyway, my husband decides he's taking me out on Saturday! Whoop whoop lucky me. He's sorted out the babysitter, made the reservations and even made an appointment for me to get my hair done! I'm not bragging, (O.K. I am a little). The reason I'm telling you this, is it got me thinking.
What do you wear on date night when it's snowing?
Love doesn't stop just because it's cold right? So, I decided to list my top five winter date night looks! I hope you like them!
I love this look on Kourtney! Sexy see-through lace top with black trousers, leather jacket, heels and a choker to finish.
I am loving the over knee boot look right now. Such an easy way to look sexy and still keep relatively warm!
So, look number two is....
I can't leave out the jumpsuit. Liter, ally my go to look for EVERYTHING!! I love this one from Minnies.
The outift I'm probably going to wear Saturday night is look number four! Our sexy little black bodycon dress with a nice pair of stiletto heels
And finally, look number five. I feel like throwing out the rule book for this one. I remember what I was like in my early twenties. Cold was just something the old boring people used to speak about. So, if you're happy to brave the potential of a little pneumonia, you should definitely go for this look:
